Methow Conservancy Educational Programs Director Mary Kiesau led 10 plant lovers on a “Wildflower Walk and Talk” above Riser Lake last Friday. Arrowleaf balsamroot, lupine and service berry were among the floriferous displays. The next wildflower walk is scheduled for May 14.
Copies of The Methow Out My Window, a limited-edition book featuring contributions by many local artists, photographers and writers, will be available in May through the Methow Conservancy.
