Published every Wednesday since 1903

The Methow Valley News has been the voice of the Methow Valley since 1903.
We publish every Wednesday, providing news, sports, arts and community information, in addition to a robust opinion page, a comprehensive calendar of events and lively local columns. We are also a go-to source for information on goods and services our advertisers offer. Our website and Facebook page are updated throughout the week.
We depend on readers to help us keep the community well informed, so we encourage you to submit events, letters, news tips and photographs and anything else you think we should know.
Our office on the TwispWorks campus welcomes folks who want to buy a newspaper, place an ad or talk to a reporter. We provide free access to the bound volumes of our past issues — yes, even the really old ones. You can also post notices on our bulletin board or grab some old newspapers for fire-starter or birdcage lining.
Though the technology has changed over the years, our commitment to community has stayed the same. Subscribe, read us online, or just come in to pick up a paper and say hello to your neighbors.
