Everett, Dickinson make U.S. World Junior Biathlon Team

Methow Valley Biathlon members Paul Everett and Kelsey Dickinson have been nominated to the U.S. Biathlon World Junior Championship Team and the European Championship Team (junior category) by the International Competition Team of the U.S. Biathlon Association.

Everett, from Tacoma, who skies for the Methow team, was among four selected in the Youth Men division for the U.S. World Team. He joins teammates from New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.

Dickinson, from Winthrop and now residing in Sun Valley, was one of two selected for the U.S. World team in the Junior Women category.

The World Junior Championships will held at Presque Isle, Maine, Feb. 28-March 8.

Both Everett and Dickinson will also compete in the European Championships at Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, from Jan. 21-30.
