Students learn about journalism at writers conference
The Young Writers Conference took place at Methow Valley Elementary School.
The students are doing activities in writing and creativity.
One of the activities was journalism with Don Nelson and Darla Hussey.
The students looked at old newspapers from 1915, 1985, and 2005, and the students recognized some of the people in the older newspapers.
They especially noted how different the prices were many years ago.
