Twisp breaks ground on new public works building

The Town of Twisp broke ground last week on a new public works building that will house the town’s public works equipment and vehicles, and provide an office for the department.

The new facility is being built at the end of Riverside Avenue, adjacent to the town’s wastewater treatment plant.

Josh Thomson appointed to fill Twisp Town Council vacancy

Josh Thomson, a civil engineer who works for Okanogan County Public Works, was appointed last week by the Twisp Town Council to fill the vacant council seat previously held by Bob Lloyd.
