Winthrop approves police services contract with Twisp

The Town of Winthrop has agreed to a three-month contract under which the Twisp Police Department will provide temporary law enforcement coverage in Winthrop.

Twisp adopts 2017 budget with slight increase in spending

The Town of Twisp has adopted a budget for 2017 that is just slightly higher than this year’s budget.

Twisp re-captures the (crossing) flags

After hearing reports from Twisp residents about near misses with vehicles while crossing Highway 20 in town, Twisp officials have installed new bright orange flags at four locations in town for pedestrians to carry while crossing the road.
