Forest researcher rescued by helicopter after being treed by gray wolves

A seasonal employee of the U.S. Forest Service, who climbed a tree after efforts to scare off two adult gray wolves by yelling and using bear spray were unsuccessful, was rescued by a helicopter on Thursday (July 12). The woman, who hasn’t been identified, was unharmed.
