In an article in the Oct. 14 edition of the Methow Valley News headlined “Okanogan District Court Judge Short faces first-ever challenger,” the newspaper misidentified an organization candidate John Bangerter mentioned in a discussion of the District Court’s lack of responsiveness to certain court stakeholders. The organization is the Omak-based Foundation for Youth Resiliency & Engagement (FYRE). The newspaper regrets the error.
