An article on Oct. 7 about an Okanogan County Electric Co-operative (OCEC) surcharge to cover additional costs from the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) provided an incorrect amount for the percentage of power OCEC gets from BPA. Power from BPA makes up about 80% of OCEC’s supply, not 50%. The article also neglected to include the full name and title of OCEC General Manager Greg Mendonca. The News regrets the errors.
