Senior news: September 23, 2026

September 24, 2026 by Methow Valley News

Another beautiful Saturday brought hordes of shoppers who came out for the Methow Valley Farmers Market and dropped into the Thrift Store. Volunteers are always thrilled to hear the comments of first-time shoppers as they find treasures at bargain prices. Frequently heard: “Let me be sure I’ve got this right. We can fill up a bag for $5?” Indeed, you can!

Shelley Smith Jones
