It wouldn’t be Labor Day without the Kiwanis Duck Race, whose spectators included actual ducks. The winning (plastic) ducks belonged to Ed Mattson, 1st, Bill Ardissono, 2nd, Norma Sholl, 3rd, Art Tasker, 4th, and Millie Ortloff, 5th. Cascade Concrete won the business duck division. Proceeds from the race benefit Kiwanis youth programs in the valley.
