Dorothy Mae Dagnon was born Oct. 18, 1934, and passed away Nov. 1, 2025, at the age of 91.
Dorothy was born to Charles Emery Dagnon and Helen Mary Vaughan Dagnon at Elsie McDonald’s in Okanogan. The Dagnon family lived in the Pleasant Valley Okanogan area, then moved to Twisp in 1949-50. Dorothy graduated from Twisp High School in 1952, where she was the ’49er Days Princess in 1952. Dorothy was the oldest child, then four more followed: Delores, Dal, Don and Tome.
She married Clifton Dodge in 1953. They had two boys, Don and Ryan Dodge. Dorothy married Arthur Nelson on Feb. 14, 1981.
Services will be held at Falls Creek Campground, at 1 p.m. on Sept. 5, 2026, 4.8 miles north of 8 Mile Ranch above Winthrop.
Bring a sandwich and a lawn chair. Beverages will be provided.
