Barbara Laverne Taylor, 79, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026. Born in the Methow Valley, Dec. 6, 1946, Barbara loved the outdoors. She adored her times hunting in the hills with her husband and family. She would not turn down an opportunity to go camping, take a road trip, or go for a horse ride-never meeting a horse she didn’t love. She enjoyed spending time with her animals, speaking to them as people. She favored an uncomplicated lifestyle and lived by her mantra; why worry about things you cannot control. A faithful wife, mother, and friend, she is survived by her two children, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends. She will be missed, dearly.
