Community’s care appreciated
To all in the Methow Valley, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible and generous support and love that has been flowing our way since Kierra’s devastating death on July 19. From the artwork and meals to finances, from the warm hugs to the respectful silence, all of you who know us, and so many who do not; we thank you for helping us to navigate this life changing event in our family. So many of you reached out to us individually in so many different acts of memory, kindness, assistance and respect, a true community, we feel it every day.
As we begin a new year, be safe and keep up the incredible support for each other that you have demonstrated to our family.
With appreciation and love,
Nancy Juergens, Raiff and Joe Reichert
Congratulations to Mayor Soo Ing-Moody for her 13 years as Mayor of Twisp. Although I did not serve under her, it is quite an accomplishment for the town to have someone with her qualifications and education to fill the role for so long. She should be proud of all the contributions she made to the town.
Former Twisp police chief, 2000-2002
Thanks for condolences
I’d like to thank everyone who showed such kindness, compassion and sympathy in their condolences at the loss of my faithful canine companion. Ms. Yoplait passed peacefully Sunday morning, Dec. 10. She was well-loved by many and will be sorely missed. Farewell, dear friend, run heaven’s hills in peace.
