Republic had no answer for the bigger, swifter Mountain Lions, who scored five times via the ground game and six passing, as Liberty Bell rolled to a 46-6 first quarter lead, invoking the 40-point mercy rule and running clock at the start of the second quarter.
Next action for the Mountain Lions will be Saturday, Nov. 18, time and place yet to be determined. As the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, Liberty Bell gets a first-round bye and await the winner of Saturday’s Darrington at Wellpinit game.
