
Teri was born Aug. 6, 1956, in Everett, Washington. She lost her battle to pancreatic cancer on Aug. 27, 2023. The family lived in Marysville, Washington, until 1967 when her father bought a farm in Chewelah, Washington. Teri went on to graduate from there in 1974.
She is preceded in death by her mother Deanna Wheeler, father Patrick Moore, and son Andrew Goder. She has left behind her loving partner of 25 years, Rick Hale, children Kelly and Ryan, sisters Valerie and Doreen, brother Shawn, grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and even a great-granddaughter.
After raising her kids, Teri moved to Winthrop, Washington, where she met her old friend Rick, and they were together ever since. They survived a couple of fires where they lost everything. They then decided to buy a house in Twisp, Washington.
Teri worked at Hank’s Harvest Foods for 19 years, where she was loved by everyone.
She loved the Mariners so much that she and her friends would drive to Seattle to watch a game and drive back the same night. She also loved her Seahawks, never missing a game.
Teri loved to garden and could make anything grow.
Rick and Teri would travel to Mexico in the winters, she loved sitting on the beach going out whale watching.
She will be missed by us all.
A celebration of life will be held at the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 1:30 p.m. Potluck, bring a side dish.
