
MaryLou Ulrich, 81, passed away on Sept. 9, 2023, after an extended battle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 30, 1941, to Frank and Johanna Jerrow in Omak, Washington. After spending her youth moving around Washington state, she settled in Omak where she graduated from Omak High School in 1959. After going to business school, she worked various business-related jobs. In 1963 MaryLou married her high school sweetheart, Bob Ulrich. Shortly after Bob graduated from college they moved to Spokane where they had their first daughter Christine in 1966. In 1967, they purchased the pharmacy in Twisp, Washington. Their second daughter Sara was born in 1969. MaryLou did all the office work for Ulrich Pharmacy but her greatest joy was being a wife and mom. She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Jerrow, mom, Johanna Steen, and stepfather, Knut Steen. She is survived by her husband, Bob Ulrich, daughter, Christine (Tracy) Young, Sara (Scott) Bennett, grandson Max Bennett, sister Bernice (Ted) Kammers, sister-in-laws Nancy Freese, Sue (Bob) Keys, and numerous nieces and nephews.
