Glover Street and the TwispWorks campus will again form a creativity corridor on Saturday (Sept. 23) for The Twisp Fall Arts Walk.
The event will be from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Artists, musicians, performers and food vendors will be set up along Glover Street and at TwispWorks campus for the free event. There will also be specials at local businesses and restaurants, and interactive art activities.
The High Country Kickers, DJ Noah aka “Akindle Bysand” and musicians from Cascadia Music will be performing downtown with poetry performances from Confluence Poets. The High Country Kickers, and musicians from Cascadia Music will also perform downtown.
Confluence Poets host a poetry reading with theme “Awareness” at the TwispWorks Pavilion, starting at 1 p.m. Confluence Poets and special guests will offer readings selected in connection with various national and international health and cultural awareness issues. A local Marimba band will also enliven the day on the Pavilion stage.
The event is supported in part with Town of Twisp and Okanogan County lodging taxes.
