Classic vehicles of two or more wheels will fill up Riverside Avenue again this year for the annual Winthrop Vintage Wheels Show.
Winthrop’s 48th annual Vintage Wheels Show — featuring antique cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors and more — will be on Saturday, Sept. 16.
The parade will start at 11 a.m. from the Winthrop Inn on Highway 20 and proceed through town on Riverside Avenue. Spectators are encouraged to park at the Winthrop Barn.
After the parade, the vehicles park along the north end of Riverside Avenue for viewing from noon-3:30 p.m. All entrants will be eligible for awards, including Best in Show, People’s Choice Award, and awards from local merchants. T-shirts and poker run cards will be available for sale at registration. To register, visit https://winthropwashington.com/events/wheels-show.
The Shafer Museum, which displays antique tractors, will be open on Castle Avenue from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
