Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office

• On Sept. 1 at 9:19 p.m., a caller on Twisp-Winthrop Eastside Road reported they were being relentlessly harassed by another person via phone and texts.

• On Sept. 2 at 7:42 a.m., officers were asked to help locate an electric bike in the area of North Glover Street and Twisp Avenue, Twisp, as the owner had forgotten where they parked it.

• On Sept. 2 at 4:11 p.m., a caller on Highway 153 near Pateros reported that they had crashed their motorcycle and hit their face on some rocks. The rider was not wearing a helmet.

• On Sept. 2 at 7:42 p.m., illegal burning was reported at a location near East Methow Valley Highway and Twisp-Winthrop Eastside Road, where fire was seen next to a camper on the river.

• On Sept. 2 at 8:30 p.m., a caller on East Chewuch Road, Winthrop, reported they hit and injured a deer.

• On Sept. 2 at 9:34 p.m., a caller reported illegal fires in the area of Fish Lake, Winthrop.

• On Sept. 2 at 10:16 p.m., a caller reported an illegal campfire at a site on Highway 153.

• On Sept. 3 at 7:17 a.m., a caller reported they hit two deer on Twisp River Road, and that one was dead and one injured.

• On Sept. 3 at 7:38 a.m., a caller at Corral Street and Englar Street in Winthrop reported that a deer had been hit and injured.

• On Sept. 3 at 10:51 a.m., a caller reported that cows were coming onto their property and doing damage at a location on East Chewuch Road, Winthrop

• On Sept. 3 at 3:23 p.m., callers who were hiking at a location near West Oval Lake, Carlton, reported that a person had set up camp on the trail, and when the callers tried to skirt the camp several dogs came out and attacked one of the hikers, causing injury.

• On Sept. 3 at 4:54 p.m., a caller on Spring Creek Lane reported that more than 30 gunshots were fired from the area of Foster Loop near Mazama.

• On Sept. 4 at 11:54 a.m., a caller on Gold Creek Loop Road, Carlton, reported that a person who had been staying on their property took their truck to town several times without permission while they were gone.

• On Sept. 4 at 2:10 p.m., a caller on Patterson Lake Road reported that a person had checked out of a room and left behind a pistol on the nightstand.

• On Sept. 4 at 3:15 p.m., a caller on Davelaar Drive, Winthrop, reported that a person had been stealing an impact driver, chain saw and chickens from their property.

• On Sept. 6 at 8:11 a.m., a caller reported that they had been harassed at a location near Signal Hill Road and Grouse Hollow Lane to “get off their property,” although the caller was only on the road.

• On Sept. 6 at 11:35 a.m., a caller on Twin Lakes Road reported an ongoing issue with dogs from a neighboring property.

• On Sept. 6 at 7:55 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Rendezvous Road, Winthrop.

• On Sept. 6 at 9:50 p.m., a caller reported that someone was taking things from the donation pile outside the Methow Valley Senior Center in Twisp.

Winthrop Marshal’s Office

• On Sept. 1 at 8:05 p.m., illegal burning was reported at a location near Chase Road and Chokecherry Road.

• On Sept. 1 at 9:32 p.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported on Highway 20.

• On Sept. 2 at 11:49 a.m., a caller reported that someone had dropped a bag on a bench on Riverside Avenue and driven off.

• On Sept. 3 at 12:19 p.m., a caller reported that two large dogs had been parked in a car at a location on Riverside Avenue, and that one of the dogs had a vicious bark and was scaring passersby.

• On Sept. 3 at 1:47 p.m., officers were asked to check in to the welfare of a spouse who was driving around sending suicidal messages to the caller.

• On Sept. 6 at 4:08 p.m., a theft was reported at a location on Riverside Avenue.
