Senior News: August 16, 2023

Recently, the Thrift Store has had some awesome and fun Saturdays. We are open at 9 a.m.-noon, and we set up tables outside filled with lots of treasures. Come and check it out. Mark your calendars — Sept. 2 is our Western/First Winter Sale. More details to come.

The senior lunches have resumed as of Aug. 14. Thank you all for your patience during this time we were closed. Greta and everyone here sure missed you all. Lunches are served Monday, Thursday and Friday. Give Greta a call to make a reservation.

Lunch menus:

Thursday, Aug. 17: Caesar salad, melon slices, cheesy garlic toast, dessert.

Friday, Aug. 18: Tuna noodle casserole, peas and carrots, garden salad, orange quarters, dessert.

Monday, Aug. 21: Barbeque chicken, carrots, macaroni salad, mixed greens salad, whole wheat roll, berry shortcake.

Thursday, Aug. 24: Sweet and sour pork, steamed rice, Oriental vegetables, cucumber salad, tropical fruit, egg roll, desert.

Friday, Aug. 25: Taco salad, Spanish rice, mixed fruit, tortilla chips, dessert.

Call (509) 997-7722 to reserve meals 24 hours in advance. Suggested donation is $5 for persons over age 60; charge for $10 for persons under 60.
