The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment for or against the consideration of a budget supplemental appropriation for Lower Goat Creek Bridge replacement costs. The funds would be either from Current Expense Contingency Reserve or American Rescue Plan Act funds (ARPA) supplementing Public Works Parks & Rec fund in the amount of $85,000.

Determination
Torrence’s Dock SDP 2023-2
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Ronald Torrence has submitted a Joint Aquatic Resource Permit Application (JARPA) for an Okanogan County Shoreline Substantial Development Permit. The purpose of the project is to replace the floating dock that was removed, with a new 70-foot floating dock that will connect with the 10×30 foot swim dock. All pieces of the new dock will be constructed off-site and floated into place and anchored in the same locations as the previous dock.
LOCATION OF THE PROPOSAL: The site is located at 76B Sinlahekin Rd. Conconully, WA. on parcel 3525050002. The property is owned by Bureau of Reclamation and is located on Upper Conconully Lake.
SEPA: Okanogan County Planning & Development issued a Threshold Determination of Non-Significance in accordance with WAC 197-11-340, identifying the proposal would not have a probable, significant, and adverse environmental impact. Comments must be submitted in writing to the Okanogan County Office of Planning & Development, 123 5th Ave N Ste. 130, Okanogan, WA 98840, no later than July 27th, 2023. If no comments are received or the comments received do not provide probable, significant, and adverse impacts from the proposal, the DNS will stand. The Project has been reviewed and found to be consistent with requirements established by the Master Program for Okanogan County Shoreline Management.
COMMENT PERIOD: Any person has the right to comment on this application, receive notice and participate in, any hearings (if scheduled), and request a copy of the decision once made. Any person may appeal a decision in accordance with RCW 90.58.180. NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT 2023-2024 BUDGET AND CONDUCT PUBLIC
HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the
Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Methow School District No. 350, Okanogan, County,
Washington (the “District”) will hold a regular meeting on July 27, 2023, commencing at 5:30
PM in the district office, located at 18 Twin Lakes Rd., Winthrop, Washington. The meeting is
called for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2023-2024
fiscal year. Prior to adoption of the 2023-2024 budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the
purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2023-2024 budget. Any person may
appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2023-2024 budget, the four year
budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240
(a/k/a Educational Programs and Operation Levy). Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board
shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2023-2024 budget and
shall, by resolution, adopt the 2023-2024 budget, the four year budget plan summary, and the
four-year enrollment projection. 2023-2024 budget information is available on the District

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY that the Town of Twisp Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Shoreline Master Program update, which includes amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Chapter 16.15 TMC at 5:00 pm on July 26, 2023 in the Twisp Civic Building. The purpose of the hearing is to consider public comments on the proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Chapter 16.15 TMC as required by Department of Ecology. Copies of the documents are available for review on the Town’s website – townoftwisp.com.
The hearing will include a review of the proposed amendments and update requirements. All persons requiring assistance in accessing Town Hall or need other assistance are requested to contact Town Hall at (509) 997-4081 prior to the hearing.

Legal Ad – Midterm Vacant Supervisor Position
The Okanogan Conservation District Board of Supervisors are authorized under RCW 89.08 to fill vacant elected positions. Albert Roberts, District Auditor, passed away on April 9, 2023. The Okanogan Conservation District Board of Supervisors does hereby resolve the following:
The Board of Supervisors position previously held by Albert Roberts is hereby deemed vacant effective immediately.
The vacant position will be open for applications beginning at 8:00 AM on July 20, 2023, and running continuously until 4:00 PM on August 18, 2023. Interested persons shall be required to submit to the District Elections Officer a letter of interest as well as a completed Form PF-A that is available from the district office or the Washington State Conservation Commission. Please contact the Okanogan Conservation District Election Officer, Becky Drenner, at (509) 429-3418 or emailing at becky@okanogancd.org. Candidates must be registered voters residing within the boundaries of the Conservation District and may be required to own land or operate a farm.
A conservation district supervisor sets policy and direction for the conservation district. A conservation district supervisor is a public official who serves without compensation.
Candidate required information is available through the Election Officer and will be accepted by mail or by making an appointment to drop it off at the District office by calling the Election Officer at (509) 429-3418.
The Board of Supervisors may take action to appoint an applicant starting with the September 5, 2023, regular monthly board meeting. The time to be served in the vacant position is approximately 9 months.
