Samantha Carlin of Winthrop carded a hole in one on the 112-yard, par 3 11th hole at Bear Creek Golf Course on June 19. Carlin’s club of choice was her No. 1 wood. It was Carlin’s first ace at Bear Creek, but not her first ever. That came on a course in her native Colorado a few years back.
