Hailey Le Roy has joined the Methow Valley News staff as a reporting intern through Western Washington University’s Sustainability Pathways Program, and will be part of the newspaper’s editorial staff for 10 weeks this summer.
Le Roy is entering her senior year at Western, majoring in environmental journalism. A native of Florida, she previously worked as a reporter at the Osprey Observer in Valrico, Florida. She hopes to explore environmental issues in the valley.
