We had another successful Western Sale last weekend. The shoppers were waiting behind the yellow tape early in the morning watching the volunteers placing all of the sale items on the tables. We had so many items that we ran out of tables. Also, the silent auction was another success. Thanks to everyone who contributed to make this another great sale, including our great community. We couldn’t have done this without you!
There is a sign-up sheet for the “Emergency Food Buckets” provided by Aging & Adult Care. To be eligible to receive one emergency bucket you must be 60 (or older). This program is limited to a first-come, first-served basis. More information is available at the Senior Center.

Thursday, June 1: Chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, Baja veggies, cucumber and tomato salad, pears, dessert.
FRIDAY, JUNE 2: Salisbury steak, potatoes and gravy, green beans, whole wheat roll, fruited Jell-O.
Monday, June 5: Chicken cordon bleu, garlic parmesan pasta, peas and carrots, tossed green salad, chilled pears, whole wheat roll, dessert.
Thursday, June 8: Cheeseburger deluxe, jo-jos, coleslaw, apple celery salad, dessert.
Friday, June 9: Baked fish, wild rice, chalet veggies, spiced salad, chilled peaches, garlic bread, dessert.
Call (509) 997-7722 to reserve meals 24 hours in advance. Suggested donation is $5 for persons over age 60; charge for $10 for persons under 60.
