
Leonard Carl Coin Passed away suddenly on May 3, 2023. He was born on March 15, 1948, in Pomona, California, to William Coin and Lois Jean Thomas. In 1967, he married Cathy Williams. Leonard went to welding school in Norwalk, California. He worked for Chicago Bridge and Iron where he welded on parts that were to be part of the World Trade Center.
Leonard loved to hunt and fish so in 1972 with his wife and young son Steven he moved to Carlton, Washington. He worked as a millwright at Biles Coleman in Omak. He was injured on the job. After his recovery Leonard worked in the orchards and welded. The Coins were blessed with their second son, Martin, in August 1973.

Leonard was proceeded in death by his companion of many years Cowgirl (dog), his parents, stepfather Martin Muller, his brother Jerry Coin and sister Roberta Dunham. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Cathy, eldest son Steven Coin (Shiona), his son Martin, granddaughter Hailey Ann Coin, grandson Bakari (Bub) Wright, granddaughters Julie LeDuc and Titiana Jameson, granddog Taz. Great-grandson Sebastian, and three sisters, Penny Woods, Jean Miller and Marlene Amos.
