Matt Armbrust, left, and Emele Clothier make up Swallowtail, and are about to release a new album.
Swallowtail, a duo comprised of local musicians Matt Armbrust and Emele Clothier, will release a new album and host a release concert on June 11 at The Merc Playhouse in Twisp.
Armbrust and Clothier, who both have lengthy resumes as accomplished artists, have been recording “Electric Horse” for the past six months, Armbrust said in a press release.
“The album features our eclectic mix of Americana stylings with a jazzy twist,” Armbrust said. “Electric Horse” includes “songs arranged simply for piano and voice, to songs produced with full-fledged orchestral arrangements and rocking guitar leads,” Armbrust said.
Armbrust said business sponsorships are being offered at prices from $50 to $250, which include logo space and mentions in printed materials, front row tickets to the release concert and copies of the album. For information, email armbrustm6@gmail.
The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. Premium front row reserved seats are priced at $20 for ticket only, or $30 with presale album purchase, plus 25% off all album purchases at the concert. General admission reserved tickets are $15 for ticket only, or $25 with presale album purchase, plus 15% off all album purchases at the concert. General admission tickets at the door will be $18, plus 10% off all album purchases at the concert.
