Two paintings by Winthrop artist Paula Christen have been accepted in regional and national exhibitions. “Rose Upon Rows” was chosen for inclusion in the Northwest Watercolor Society 2023 Membership show; and “Running Wild” was juried into in the 2023 National Watercolor Society Membership exhibition.
“Each of these paintings has its inspirational roots deep in the Methow Valley,” Christen said.
Both will be available for viewing online, along with the other selected exhibition watercolors.
The National Watercolor Society online exhibition begins May 3 and runs through June 30. All accepted artists and their painting will be posted on the NationalWatercolorSociety.org website.
The Northwest Watercolor Society online exhibition begins April 28 with the awards reception at 5 p.m. Register for the free online event at www.nwws.org. The exhibition runs through June 30.
