
Jack W. Loucks died February 27, 2023, at his home in Malott, surrounded by family. He was born March 1, 1956, in Brewster Hospital, the son of Jack W. Sr. and Mary Sue (Burnett) Loucks. He was the second-oldest of four children.
Jack graduated from Liberty Bell High School, class of 1974. Following graduation, Jack worked for the U.S. Forest Service, the Alaskan Pipeline, and U.S.E.I. Jack’s work took him to numerous countries such as Cuba, Panama, Brazil, Switzerland and Madagascar just to name a few. He married his high school sweetheart, Patty L. Graham, and they settled mostly in Carlton and then in Malott. They celebrated 48 years of marriage in December. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, metal detecting, and spending time with friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by his brother Michael Loucks and daughter-in-law Jennifer. Surviving in addition to his wife, Patty, are his sons Jeremy Loucks of Okanogan; Cory (Thea) Loucks of Spokane and children Ella, Hugh and Betty; Nolan (Nicole) Loucks of Twisp and children Melody and Eme. Jack is survived by his siblings Phil Loucks of Petersburg, Alaska; Vicki Williams of Republic, Washington. Lastly, Jack is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank our December secret angels, Jim Veeder and the U.S.E.I family for flowers, and condolences. Jack’s celebration of life is to be held on April 29, 2023, with location to still be determined.
