Sausage dinner
The Methow Valley Eagles in Twisp host a sausage feed dinner on Saturday (March 25), from 4-7 p.m., featuring beer and music. Cost is $18. Bavarian beer hall attire is encouraged.
School retirees’ meeting
The Okanogan County School Retirees’ Association will hold a general meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 31, at the Community Presbyterian Church of Omak, 9 Birch Street S. Marketing workshop
A free workshop on marketing essentials such as website design, search engine optimization and Google analytics will be led by Anne Young, marketing director for the Town of Winthrop, on Wednesday, March 29, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Winthrop library. The presentation, sponsored by TwispWorks, will include strategies and tools available to every business owner who wants to use the internet to their advantage. Wildflowers of the Methow
The local chapter of the state Native Plant Society is offering a power point-assisted talk on “The Wildflowers of the Methow” by local naturalist Dana Visalli on Tuesday, March 28, at 7 p.m. at The Cove II in Twisp. For information about the free event, email dana@methownet.com.
Classroom in Bloom summer camps
Registration has opened for Classroom in Bloom’s four summer camps, which focus on the great outdoors, studying pollinators, eating fresh food and learning about nature. The camps, for kids ages 6-11, are from July 10-Aug. 3, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the Classroom in Bloom site on the Methow Valley School District campus. April Tools Sale
The Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp is hosting its fourth annual April Tools Sale on Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., in the center’s parking lot. It’s not just for tools, but also furniture, equipment, collectables, and anything that is usable (but no junk). Sellers and vendors can book a table or more. Family Constellations
