This is a solicitation for Consultants to submit Statements of Qualifications for Material Testing Services which will include work on the following Federal Aid Projects:

OCRP 9114-06 Twisp River Bridge Deck Repair

OCRP 9114-07 Twisp River Road-Spokane Grade Overlay

OCRP 9114-08 Twisp River Road Reconstruction

OCRP 9313-13 Cameron Lake Road

The County of Okanogan reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with these projects.

Material Testing Services for these projects are estimated to take place between April 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025 and may extend beyond this estimated date range.

Scope of work may include:

• Sub-surface soil and asphalt coring samples

• Compaction Testing

• Asphalt Sampling and Testing

• Aggregate Sampling and Testing

• Other road construction related materials testing

• Prepare and Provide all Test Results and Reports to Contracting Agency

All work shall be performed in accordance with the latest WSDOT Standard Specifications, WSDOT Construction Manual and the Local Agency Guidelines.

Respondents please submit two (2) paper copies of your SOQ not to exceed 10 single sided pages each.

Each Firm’s Qualifications Statement will be evaluated and scored on the following categories:

         Firm’s experience in applicable projects

         Staff experience in applicable projects

The Entity selected for Okanogan County Fair Market and Small animal auction services shall be responsible for Auction services at the Okanogan County Fair. Work may include but is not limited to the following:

Perform all financial and operational activities related to the market and small animal auction and be present during the Okanogan County Fair

Provide auctioneer services for the market and small animal auction.

Provide for the ability to use credit cards for the purchase of all animals.

Provide for the ability to live stream Livestock and fur and feather auctions to gain a greater audience of bidders.

Provide for the registration of all bidders.

Provide for the timely disbursement of monies to sellers.

Coordinate with volunteers to help create an efficient auction.

Coordinate the transportation and sale of market animals to their respective destinations.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Okanogan County Noxious Weed Control Board is updating its list of spray applicator vendors which are provided to individuals and businesses to let them know the contact information and pricing for spray applicators who provide spray services in Okanogan County. Potential vendors who apply pesticides in any of these spray application categories are invited to notify the Okanogan County Noxious Weed Office in writing if they wish to be placed on the 2023 Spray Applicator Vendors List.

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for CRP No. 9155-20 Old 97, Verestar to Plata, will be received by Okanogan County at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, located on the first floor of the Grainger Administration Building, 123 Fifth Avenue North, Room 150, Okanogan, Washington. Mailed proposals must be received by no later than the last working day prior to the bid opening date. This is a State Funded project that provides for the improvement of 1.20 miles of Old Highway 97, beginning at MP 4.15 to MP 5.35. Improvements include minor realignment, shoulder widening, grading, and drainage. Work will include clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation including haul, crushed surfacing base/top course, project temporary traffic control, trimming and cleanup, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

Any person having a claim against the decedent must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing either the personal representative or the personal representative’s attorney at the address state below a copy of the claim and filing the original claim with the court in which the probate proceedings were commenced. The claim must be presented within the later of: (1) 30 days after the personal representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020(1)(c); or (2) four months after the date of first publication of the notice. If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and RCW 11.40.060. This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent’s probate and non-probate assets.

General Notice

Town of Twisp (Owner) is requesting Bids for construction of the Wastewater Collection System Improvements Project. Bids for construction of the Project will be received by the Owner via online submission only, until (2:00) (PM,) March 30, 2023 local time. A bid summary will be issued after opening, emailed to all bidders and posted on the website.

The Project includes construction of collection system improvements work which generally consists of the following elements:

• Internal cleaning and CCTV inspection of approximately 7,500 lf of 8-inch and 10-inch wastewater pipelines

• Root removal

• Sanitary sewer bypass pumping

• CIPP liner installation in approximately 3,350 lf of 8-inch sewer pipes

• Open cut replacement of approximately 1,900 lf of 8-inch and 10-inch sewer pipes including reconnection of existing services and replacing 10 manholes

• Rehabilitation of 15 manholes

• Associated HMA removal, HMA replacement, gravel surfacing, hydroseed, and associated surface replacement

This project is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements mandated by Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (and subsequent statutes).

This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58 §§ 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States.
