Problematic weather limited the flying time of the hot air craft in town for last weekend’s annual Winthrop Balloon Roundup. But pilots and spectators took full advantage of the time they had available to float as far as possible or observe the process of getting the colorful balloons aloft. The popular Saturday night Balloon Glow was able to take place, lighting up downtown Winthrop.
