Shoppers chatted and sampled wines at The Purple Sage, one of six stops on the “Winthrop Sip and Stroll” tour last weekend, part of the Balloon Roundup activities. Other businesses on the downtown route were The French Quail, 3 Bears and Quilts, The Iron Horse, Shotgun Nellies and the Winthrop Store. The event was sponsored by the Winthrop Chamber of Commerce.
