Football team rings
An effort is afoot to fund the purchase of commemorative rings celebrating Liberty Bell High School’s 1B state championship football team, for the players and the team’s student volunteers. Fatbike Meetup in Winthrop
Methow Fatbike and Methow Cycle & Sport will host a Fatbike Meetup on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 13-15), with activities at various locations in Winthrop.
Events include:
• Friday, from 5-7 p.m., a night ride from the Winthrop Town Trailhead. The 5-mile ride includes the Bitterbrush and Barnsley loops. Cost is $10; Methow Trails fat bike trail pass required.
• Saturday, starting at 10 a.m., ride at Pearrygin Lake State Park and Lloyd Ranch. Sno-Park permit required at Pearrygin; Discover Pass at Lloyd Ranch.
• Saturday, Fat and Happy Hour, 4-7 p.m. at Methow Cycle & Sport in Winthrop, with crit race and pump track games.
