Senior News: December 21, 2022

December 21, 2022 by Methow Valley News

It’s hard to believe the holidays are just around the corner.

You can feel the warmth of the season when you enter the dining room at the Senior Center. The Christmas tree and decorative table displays are very nice.

On Thursday (Dec. 22), we are serving prime rib for the senior Christmas lunch in the dining room. It’s my understanding there are many who are planning to attend.

With the successful Christmas Sale behind us, we also opened the Sale Room displaying items as well. After this week, the Sale Room will be closed until the next sale in 2023. I want to personally thank everyone, including the community for their time and help for being a part of this success. This community continues to amaze me with their generosity and involvement.

Beginning Monday (Dec. 26), the Thrift Store will return to regular hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. If you are bringing in donations, please bring them in before 2:30 p.m.

As a reminder, effective Dec. 1, the serving days for lunch have changed to Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Warm wishes to everyone for a wonderful and safe holiday.
