Bill Evans tribute:
A tribute to legendary jazz pianist and composer Bill Evans, featuring Lynette Westendorf, piano; Dave Nolet, bass; and Kirk Schumacher, drums, will be presented at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at the Methow Valley Community Center.
OVOC concert rescheduled
The Okanogan Valley Orchestra and Chorus holiday concert has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 7, at 3 p.m. in the Omak Performing Arts Center in Omak.
The orchestra and chorus will present classic and modern holiday favorites, culminating in a joint performance of the “Hallelujah” Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for those 18 and younger.
Call for artists
The Confluence: Art in Twisp is inviting artists to submit works for possible display in the gallery’s “Inspired” exhibit, which opens March 4, 2023, and continues through April 15.
Poets will be invited to provide work that may be used by visual artists to create work. Visual artists will be asked to create work that poets will interpret during the exhibit. There will be a poetry reading at the gallery on March 5. Jennifer Molesworth and Merry Maxwell are the curators.
