Federal Aid Survey Services Contract
This is a solicitation for Consultants to submit their Qualification Statements for land survey services. The selected Consultant(s) will enter into a one year, or until project completion, contract with Okanogan County Public Works which will include work on Federal Aid project. Qualification Statements will be received by the Okanogan County Department of Public Works office at 1234-A Second Avenue South, Okanogan, WA 98840, until 2:00pm, December 20, 2022. The Consultant(s) selected for the below stated Federal Aid project shall be responsible for land survey work that may be required by the County over the duration of the contract(s) term. Work may include, but is not limited to, the following:
• Legal Property Descriptions
• Legal Descriptions for Road vacation
• Record of Survey
• Construction Staking
This is a solicitation for Consultants to submit Statements of Qualifications which will include work on the following Federal Aid project:
• OCRP 9309-13 Cameron Lake Road 3R
Land Survey Services for these projects are estimated to begin between February 1, 2023 and December 31, 2026 and may extend beyond this estimated date range.
The County of Okanogan reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with these projects.
Please submit two (2) paper copies of your SOQ, not to exceed 12 single sided pages each, to Okanogan County Public Works Attn: Contracts Administrator at the address noted above.
Each Firm’s Qualifications Statement will be evaluated and scored on the following categories:
Firm’s experience
Staff experience
Availability
Accessibility
Experience with Okanogan County Public Works projects
Familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA standards
Examples of Similar Work
References
All work shall be performed in accordance with the latest WSDOT Standard Specifications, WSDOT Construction Manual and the Local Agency Guidelines.

Grace Bible Church
Notice is hereby given that an application has been submitted by Tory Wulf on behalf of Mac & Cass Partnership to permit an 8872 sq ft church for weekly church services, in accordance with Okanogan County Code 17A.220.010. The CUP, if approved, would allow a new access off of Indian Ave., paved parking lot for 50 vehicles an overflow graveled parking lot and an adjacent play field. Maximum occupancy of the church will be 200. The church will be utilized seven days a week between the hours of 9am and 9pm. Weekday use will be youth group activities and church social events. The parcel currently has ten farmworker housing units. No housing units will be removed. Water and sewer will be provided by the City of Brewster. The site is located at 113 West Indian Ave. near Brewster, WA on tax parcel number 3024140077.
According to Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) regulations, the office of Okanogan County Planning and Development issued a final environmental mitigated determination of non-significance (MDNS) for this proposal. The public hearing for this project is scheduled for January 12, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Commissioners Hearing Room. Project comments can be submitted up to the hearing date and testimony may be given at the hearing. Failure to comment by this date denies a party standing to appeal the final decision. The Okanogan County Central Landfill, Ellisforde Transfer Station, Bridgeport Transfer Station & Twisp Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday Dec. 24, 2022 in observance of Christmas. All locations will resume regular schedules Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022. All locations will also be closed on Saturday Dec. 31, 2022 for New Year’s Day and will resume operations on Tuesday Jan. 3, 2023.
