The Liberty Bell High School Knowledge Bowl team returned to competition on Dec. 5 at a tournament in Tonasket, where eight schools contended in the season’s first meet.
A dominant Manson performance won the competition with 53 points accumulated over three oral rounds of competition. Okanogan placed second with 36 points and host school Tonasket finished third with 31 points. Liberty Bell finished fourth with 27 points.
Liberty Bell 1 team was led by returning seniors Angel Arellano and Rocco Wildman, and first-time competitors seniors EZ Kirk and Graham Sheley. Liberty Bell 2 was led by seniors Connor Herlihy and Carter Sheley, and junior Ken Hussey.
Liberty Bell travels to Manson on Jan. 11, 2023, for its next competition.
