Help pick the “Top 10 News Stories of the Year”
The top Methow Valley news stories of 2022 had some overlap with 2021, but the past year also saw its share of emerging and developing stories that grabbed headlines. Meanwhile, some major stories from the past few years ran their course. For our annual Year in Review Issue, we’ll revisit the top local stories of the year, with your help.
It’s simple to participate: Pick your own top 10 stories — you don’t have to rank them in any order, just pick 10 — from the list below. We narrowed it down to about 25 possibilities, from a much longer list. You may have your own favorites that you think should have been included. If so, you can offer write-in votes. Some related stories may also be consolidated under one listing.
Results will be included in the Jan. 4, 2023, Year in Review issue of the Methow Valley News.
Here’s how to be a voter:
• Email your choices to editor@methowvalleynews.com.
• Clip out and mail the ballot to P.O. Box 97, Twisp, WA 98856.
• Vote online by visiting www.methowvalleynews.com. Add comments if you like.
We’ll run the ballot again over the next few weeks (please limit yourself to one ballot).
