NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Okanogan County, 123 5th Ave. N. Room 150, Okanogan, Washington 98840 at their office on the main floor of the Virginia Grainger Administration Building, until 11:15 A.M. on December 13, 2022 at which time they will be opened and publicly read to furnish the Okanogan County Department of Public Works with the following:

Public Works Motor Fuel

Additional information and specifications may be obtained from the Okanogan County Department of Public Works, 1234-A 2nd Ave. S., Okanogan, WA 98840 (509) 422-7300.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

There will be a SWAC (Solid Waste Advisory Committee) meeting on December 5, 2022 at 4:00pm at 1234-A 2nd Ave S, Okanogan WA 98840 in the Okanogan County Public Works conference room upstairs.

SWAC has one open position. Position #8 represents the public at large. Any County resident can fill this position. Interested parties must submit a letter of interest to the address above.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Okanogan County Commissioners that a Public Hearing is set for 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 and will be held in person and via ZOOM, in the County Commissioners’ Hearing Room. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment for or against the consideration of budget supplemental appropriation within the Capital Improvement Fund 134 in the amount of $44,028. The funds are from the Reserved Ending Fund Balance and will be used for Courthouse Exterior Renovation Project costs.

The hearing will be held remotely in the County Commissioners’ Hearing Room located at 123 5th Avenue North, Okanogan, Washington.  Persons wishing to comment may attend the hearing in person or via Zoom to be called on for comment or submit comments in writing to the Commissioners’ Office at 123 5th Avenue North, Rm 150, Okanogan, Washington 98840, or by email to ljohns@co.okanogan.wa.us.
