Leo passed away peacefully at the Methow Valley Veterinary Hospital on Oct. 13 at the age of 17. He was loyal and loving to his handlers, but all others foolish enough to try and pet him were subjected to the “Big Hiss.” He will be sorely missed by his owners but not so much by others as he made quite the impression with his bad attitude.
During his long life, Leo enjoyed going for long walks, relaxing in the garden and watching the deer. Highly intelligent for his species, Leo understood several words and commands. Not a good mouser but would quite often catch snakes. Leo is survived by Alan, Gisele and BG.
