Election ballots mailed this week

Ballots for the Nov. 8 general election are being mailed this week by the Okanogan County Auditor’s Office. If you do not receive your ballot by Friday, Oct. 28, contact the Auditors Office at (509) 422-7240 or email elections@co.okanogan.wa.us.

Ballots can be returned by mail (postmarked by Nov. 8), or dropped off at one of several drop box locations until 8 p.m. on election day. In the Methow Valley, the drop boxes are at the Winthrop Barn, and at Twisp’s temporary town hall at 110 E. Second St.

Visit https://voter.votewa.gov/WhereToVote.aspx to register online. You can also register to vote at the Auditor’s Office, 149 Third Ave. N., Okanogan, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and up to 8 p.m. on election day.
