Senior news: October 12, 2022

October 12, 2022 by Methow Valley News

Don’t forget, we are on winter hours now. The thrift store will be open at 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday. This gives some of our volunteers that live far away more time to get in, and get home before dark. Also, we will be open Saturdays through October.

We had another great Winter and Halloween Sale last Saturday. We were amazed at how little was left. The sale room will be open with the leftovers for a while. Then Christmas gets to move in and set up.

We will be getting the hall and sale room carpets cleaned on Oct. 19, and on Oct. 26 the floors in the sorting room and sale room will be cleaned and resealed. So those days the thrift store will be closed. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it has to be done. They are the only days there isn’t a meal.
