Methow Music Monthly, compiled by local musician George Schneider, is a free listing of live music events in the valley. Email Schneider at MethowMusicMonthly@gmail.com to be included in the listings or to receive the monthly listings via email. The information below was provided by Schneider and other sources.

  • Sundays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Twisp Park, freestyle dance. By donation.
  • Sundays at 6 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House , virtuoso guitarist Terry Hunt. No cover.
  • Wednesdays from 6-8:30 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, join instructor Brandi Parsley to learn a variety of dances. $10.
  • Thursdays at 6 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, open mic jam and ping pong hosted by Gregg Hardy. No cover.
  • Thursdays from 5:30-6:20 p.m. at the Methow Valley Community Center gym, Latin-based cardio dance class. By donation.
  • Oct. 1, 6 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, Tamarack String Quartet— Pam Hunt, Matt Armbrust, Norma Shull and Anna Dooley — play classics to pop. No cover.
  • Oct. 1, 6-9 p.m. at Mazama Public House, Randy & Jerome play folk/rock classics and standards. No cover.
  • Oct. 1, 6-9 p.m. at Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Winthrop, local favorite Gregg Hardy. No cover.
  • Oct. 8, 6-9 p.m. at Mazama Public House, Ben Wheeler plays classical guitar. No cover.
  • Oct. 8, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Winthrop, Emele and The Boys (Matt Armbrust, Fletcher Rickabaugh and Wayne Mendro) play a mixture of folk, jazzy blues and rock. No cover
  • Oct. 7 (6 p.m.) and Oct. 8 (5 p.m.) at Twisp River Tap House, Andy “Banjo” Bormes offers a bluegrass medley. No cover.
  • Oct. 8, 8:30 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, Harvest Full Moon Dance Party with DJ Travis. No cover.
  • Oct. 13, 6-9 p.m. at OSB Taproom, Twisp, Emele Clothier and Matt Armbrust offer a myriad of sounds. No cover.
  • Oct. 14, 6 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, Laura Love and Terry Hunt play jazz, Americana and blues. No cover.
  • Oct. 14, 6-9 p.m. at Old Schoolhouse Brewery, Winthrop, fingerstyle guitarist/vocalist Steve Itterly plays Americana and folk. No cover.
  • Oct. 15, 6-9 p.m. at Mazama Public House, fingerstyle guitarist/vocalist Steve Itterly plays Americana and folk. No cover.
  • Oct. 15, 7:30 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, local band Danville plays Americana, rock, folk and bluegrass band. No cover.
  • Oct. 20, 6-9 p.m. at OSB Taproom, Twisp , guitarist/vocalist Darin Hildebrand offers rock and folk covers and originals. No cover.
  • Oct. 21, 6 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, Mystic Plowmen, original blues rock and roll band from Grand Coulee. No cover.
  • Oct. 21, 6-9 p.m. at Old Schoolhouse Brewery, Winthrop, guitarists Stuart Holm and Stephen Kish offer an eclectic selection. No cover.
  • Oct. 22, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Winthrop, Emele and the Boys (Matt Armbrust, Loren Boley and special guest) play folk, jazzy blues and rock. No cover.
  • Oct. 22, 7:30 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, Make Up Sax, Okanogan’s rock and roll and funky soul band. No cover.
  • Oct. 27, 6-9 p.m. at OSB Taproom, Twisp, the Misery Whips offer bluegrass, country, jazz, klezmer and other eclectic folk music. No cover.
  • Oct. 28, 6 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, Wayne Mendro and Breathe offer jazz on guitar and woodwinds. No cover.
  • Oct 29, 8 p.m. at Twisp River Tap House, Halloween dance and costume party featuring the Crunk Monks with special guest DJs Noah Constrictor and Willionaire. Cash prizes for top three best costumes.
  • Oct. 29, 6-9 p.m. at Mazama Public House, country and folk duo Karen et Gil. No cover.
