Candidate forum set at Twisp Valley Grange

September 21, 2022 by Methow Valley News

The Twisp Valley Grange will host a candidate forum for several local offices on Tuesday, Oct. 11, starting with a meet-and-greet at 6 p.m. and followed by a question-and-answer session from 6:30-8 p.m.

Expected to appear are District 3 county commissioner candidates Lloyd Caton and Jon Neal; Okanogan County Public Utility District commissioner candidates Jerry Asmussen and Joseph Enzensperger; and county coroner candidates Jeannie Hughes and Dave Rodriguez.

Candidates will answer questions collected from the audience.

Lonny Ray Williams, who is challenging state Rep. Jacquelin Maycumber in the 7th District (which includes Okanogan County), is expected to attend the meet-and-greet.

The event will be live streamed. The grange will post the streaming link on its website and Facebook page when it is available.

For information, call (206) 999-1898 or email wendellajb@gmail.com.

Ballots will be mailed on Oct. 20 for the Nov. 8 general election.
