‘One Act Play’ continues
The Merc Playhouse production of “The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong” continues on Sept. 22 – 24, 29 – 30, and Oct. 1 at 7 p.m., and on Sept. 25 and Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime and advance ticket purchases are recommended. Audition at The Merc
The Merc Playhouse is holding auditions for “The Battle of The One Acts,” a readers theater presentation featuring three short plays — “Time Flies,” “Mere Mortals” and “The Butleress” — directed by Phil Quevillon. Remaining audition times are Monday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m.; and Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. The director is seeking six actors, men and women. No preparation is necessary. Bring your calendar, contact information, water bottle and details about potential activity conflicts. Rehearsals will start in early October. Performances are Nov. 4-13.
