Live music in the valley

Methow Music Monthly, compiled by local musician George Schneider, is a free listing of live music events in the valley. Email Schneider at MethowMusicMonthly@gmail.com to be included in the listings or to receive the monthly listings via email. The information below was provided by Schneider and other sources.

  • Sundays 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Twisp Park, freestyle dance. By donation.
  • Wednesdays 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Twisp River Tap House, line dancing lessons with Brandi Parsley. $10.
  • Thursdays at 6 p.m. at the Twisp River Tap House, open mic jam and ping pong, hosted by Gregg Hardy. No cover.
  • Fridays 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Methow Valley Community Center, Zumba dance lessons. By donation.
  • Sundays at 5:30 p.m. at the Twisp River Tap House, guitar virtuoso Terry Hunt. No cover.
  • Sept. 2, 6 p.m. at the Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Winthrop, Ken Bevis and Jerome Bowler. Free.
  • Sept 2, 7 p.m. at the Twisp River Tap House, singer, songwriter, music producer and visionary Sphie performs. Free.
  • Sept. 3, 5:30 p.m. at the Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Emele and The Boys play folk, blues, rock, western and original compositions. Free.
  • Sept. 3, 7 p.m. at the Twisp River Tap House, Terry Hunt and Laura Love perform. Free.
  • Sept. 4, 7 p.m. at the Twisp River Tap House, Too Slim & the Taildraggers (annual performers at the Winthrop Rhythm and Blues Festival) perform. $15.
  • Sept. 4 and Sept. 5, 9-11:30 a.m. at the Methow Valley Ciderhouse, “Breakfast Music” with Matt Armbrust and Emele Clothier. Free with breakfast.
  • Sept. 9, 6-9 p.m. at SweetRiver Bakery, Pateros, Jeremy Abbott. No cover.
  • Sept. 9, 7 p.m. at the Twisp River Tap House, 919. Free.
  • Sept. 10, 6-9 p.m. at SweetRiver Bakery, Pateros, Randy Battle Bluz. No cover.
  • Sept. 10, 7:30 p.m. at the Twisp River Tap House, Pay Dirt aka Rototiller, a high-energy, Americana, bluegrass and blues band, performs in a benefit for the Methow Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. No cover.
