Senior News: July 27, 2022

July 27, 2022 by Methow Valley News

If you are storing your donations in a garage, shed or barn, please check for mice before you bring them in. We have been getting a lot of live mice jumping out at us and some of the sorters don’t like mice. We now have to have a trap line going. It’s nasty to open a bag or box and have it full of mice droppings and nests, as well as unhealthy.

We are going to be raising the price of a bag to $4 the first of August. We are having to buy bags now and they are expensive, so this will help off-set the price. The $1.50 bag will be $2. If you have extra bags and can share, we would love to have them.

A celebration of life for Art Zink will be this Sunday, at his place in Methow.
