Methow Recycles’ next Repair Café will be on Aug. 20 in a different location: at Dwight Filer’s shop at the far end of the Methow Valley Farmers Market, next to the vehicle licensing office.
Free repairs will be available from 10 a.m. – noon for a variety of items including bicycles, electrical devices, small appliances, backpacks and more, along with sewing and mending and tool sharpening.
There is no limit to the number of items you can bring, nor do you need to make an appointment. Just show up and volunteer fixers will do their best to repair your stuff. Items must be small enough to carry; and must not be leaking fluids or be hazardous in any way. You must stay with your item during its repair.
