Seattle-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Whitney Mongé and her band headline the second Methow Arts boat-in concert at Patterson Lake on June 23, starting at 6 p.m.
The free event will be staged at the Patterson Lake Cabins. The concert is intended to be viewed from the lake only. Boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards or other water vessels are welcome, according to Methow Arts.
Access is at the main public boat launch only (Discover Pass required for parking), or walk your small vessel down to the water along the shore. According to her website, Mongé has become a staple in the Seattle music scene over the years after beginning as a busker in the Pike Place Market. She has played stages throughout the Pacific Northwest, has toured Europe and released several EPs, as well as supporting several national touring acts.
